Conneally Residence

Located on the brow of a hill with commanding views of the rural countryside, the owners of this country ranch house desired to expand the floor plan of their house to accommodate visiting family and friends.  On the interior, the central core of the home was opened up and expanded, creating an open flowing, visually connected living room, dining room, kitchen and front sitting room with plenty of windows for the wonderful views and plenty of sunlight.  Interior columns and coffered ceilings help define interior spaces.  On the exterior, new soaring, multiple front facing gables rise gracefully to welcome visitors as they approach from the bottom of the hill.  French doors in the dining room lead to a back outdoor covered porch and patio area.  A handicap accessible bathroom was added to the master bedroom and a handicap accessible ramp, designed in stone to match the new stone wainscoting, was added to the front.  Exterior building materials were chosen to match existing and to provide a maintenance free exterior.
