Dodge Residence

Having spent numerous summers in the northeast, the clients of this home desired the exterior of their house evoke strong images of the New England/Cape Cod style.  Work included designing a new back yard pavilion, remodel a conservatory, complete the rear yard landscaping/hardscaping, re-design a back porch, re-side the entire house with shingle siding and apply style appropriate wood trim around windows, belt course and water table.  A new retaining wall and stone landscaping steps were placed to fluidly merge with the steep terrain.  Appropriately scaled and styled light fixtures were hung on the house.  The completed exterior transformation of this house is a true collaboration between architect and owner and successfully elevates the human spirit and sense of place.
