RESTORATION TRANSFORMATION
This project involved extensive renovation work and expansion of an outdated kitchen for this wonderful turn-of-the-century historic house located in mid-town Omaha. A second phase of work involved restoration and re-construction of the missing front roof dormers shown in historic photographs. The third-story subsumed attic with dormers was designed as the new master bedroom suite. Work in the kitchen included adding a new island, pantry, granite countertops, new appliances, richly stained, custom-designed cabinets, wood floors, new light fixtures and a built-in dinette. The exterior is designed to be harmonious with the existing house.
